Just a reminder- Alan and Cassie will be in Christchurch on Tuesday, November 13 - they're going to Tracy Industries and then doing some shopping that evening. Not sure if I'm actually going to do a post with them but as a previous post already established them going didn't want them popping up elsewhere.

Since the Rose Parade starts at 9 AM PST (with a pre-parade show an hour earlier) - and I doubt that it'll change, since it never has - it would be 5 AM on Tracy Island on the 2nd when it would be shown live. I suspect that no one on the island will be watching. Or, if they are, they'll want to see it again, so they can see the Tracy family's reaction to TB2 as a float.
Perhaps the theme of the parade could be "Heros, Past and Present". And wouldn't it be cool if Andrew, Dianne's uncle, was the Grand Marshall, representing "Doctors Without Borders"? He might not have told his sister and niece, to surprise them, even if it is publicly announced. A lot of people miss the announcement.
So count Will in. Too bad Lena's not going to be on the island. She'd have loved to see their reaction in person.

Actually, it's TB7 that gets the float treatment. TB2 (or a facsimile thereof) would have been a balloon in the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade.
The only way for Tracys to see it live would be if they could watch it on the way home--so far, I have it planned that they'd have a brunch at Penny's and would celebrate Jeff's birthday then, and leave mid-afternoon so they arrive home on the 2nd. With Alan needing to go up to TB5 and Jeff wanting to consider Izarra, they can't wait much longer than that to get back home.
I love the theme, though, and Andrew consenting to be the grand marshal. Do you think the 21st century moon pioneers would also be considered heroes, and that Jeff would have been asked, but declined?

The dicetyline cannon post has been moved to Feb. 1. I planned on both Virgil and Scott being involved please keep this in mind when adding posts to that date.
